A Creature of Bark and Shadow

While exploring off the path of this forgotten world, I stumbled upon this fallen beast. Rest easy, my friend. You once stood tall in this mythical forest—providing, witnessing, flourishing.

Do my eyes deceive me? Has this once-great plant morphed into an alligator on the forest floor? The woods play tricks like that—shifting shapes just enough to keep me guessing.

Liminal Space

I drifted into a liminal world. Direction became meaningless here—every path looked the same, and even my sense of distance dissolved. The air held the faintest layer of fog, soft and shimmering, and with each step I felt myself slipping loose from the usual weight of being. It was like walking inside a dream, gently disconnected from myself, yet more present than I had been in years. I wasn’t frightened. The place felt warm, protective—alive in a way that welcomed me. For the first time, I didn’t feel alone. There was a quiet unity here, something I still struggle to describe. I could have stayed in this place forever.
